THE SITUATION
Blue Mont Stays had the kind of hosting brand you feel instantly in real life: warm, intentional, and deeply rooted in Black Mountain. Each stay reflected the founders’ story, their path to the town, their love for the place, and the relationships they’ve built through community involvement.
Online, that story wasn’t coming through. Their website and content didn’t fully capture the meaning behind the spaces or the values that set them apart from traditional property management companies. They brought me in to help translate that lived experience and their connection to community into a digital presence that felt just as personal.

THE SOLUTION
I partnered with the founders to distill Blue Mont’s voice into a clear messaging and tone guide that was warm, grounded, and unmistakably theirs. That foundation shaped a full website refresh designed to move visitors naturally from curiosity to booking, and build long-term trust in their vision of “stays with purpose.”
From there, the story expanded into a long-term content framework across blog, newsletter, and social. Paired with a contemporary visual system that included nature-rooted imagery, thoughtful typography, and a palette drawn from the landscape, we launched recurring features like Locals We Love and Notes from the Mountain, ensuring every channel felt cohesive and reflected their voice and values.
THE OUTCOME
Blue Mont now shows up online the way guests experience their homes: connected, purposeful, and quietly refined. The brand has a clear point of view, a cohesive presence across channels, and a sustainable storytelling system that scales — positioning Blue Mont as a community-rooted hospitality brand, not just another place to stay.
